Terms of Use
The rules for using the site, member access, Bunker Breach and Operation Overbuilt services.
Last updated: 10 September 2026
1. About these terms
These Terms of Use apply to operationoverbuilt.co.uk, the Operation Overbuilt member area, the Bunker Breach game, public build/R&D content, the Wall of Enablers and other services presented through this website. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use restricted/member features.
2. The project
Operation Overbuilt is an engineering-led creative project documenting ambitious physical builds, experiments, failures, redesigns and related entertainment. Public build information is provided for interest and documentation. It is not professional engineering, safety, legal, tax, investment or financial advice.
Do not rely on project content as instructions for a safety-critical build or use it as a substitute for competent design review, testing, risk assessment or professional advice.
3. Accounts and member access
Some features require an Operation Overbuilt account and current member access. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity carried out through your account. Do not share member credentials or attempt to obtain another person’s access.
Current YouTube members may use Google + YouTube verification to create or link an account. Google verifies the channel the person controls; Operation Overbuilt then compares that channel with the latest membership snapshot available to the site. Member access is granted only where the current membership information supports it or where an administrator has legitimately granted access.
A change or cancellation on YouTube may not be reflected on the site until the next membership sync. When a member is no longer shown as current, member-only access may be removed.
4. Member benefits
Member benefits may include access to private pages, digital files, workshop material, profile features, Bunker Breach levels beyond the guest limit, member drops or other benefits described at the time. Benefits, availability and formats may change as the project develops. A membership does not transfer ownership of Operation Overbuilt, its designs, intellectual property or future revenue.
5. YouTube memberships and external services
YouTube memberships are purchased and managed through YouTube. YouTube’s own terms, billing rules, cancellation and refund processes apply to that transaction. Operation Overbuilt does not control Google/YouTube account availability or platform outages.
6. Profile images and other member submissions
If you submit a display name, profile image, roof inscription or other member content, you confirm that you have the right to submit it and that it is lawful, non-explicit, non-abusive and suitable for a public engineering/community site. We may approve, reject, crop, hide or remove submitted content.
By submitting content for public display, you give Operation Overbuilt a non-exclusive permission to display that content on the site for the purpose for which it was submitted. You can ask for public profile content to be removed.
7. Bunker Breach
Bunker Breach is an entertainment feature. Guest access may be limited to specified levels while verified members receive deeper access. Scores may be submitted to a public leaderboard using a display name/callsign. We may remove or reset scores that appear fraudulent, abusive, technically invalid or obtained through manipulation of the game or service.
Unless a specific competition page expressly says otherwise, leaderboard position does not create a right to a prize, payment or other reward.
8. Fund the Build
Any “Fund the Build”, supporter or patronage payment is voluntary support unless a specific offer clearly states that a product or service is being purchased. Support is not an investment, loan, shareholding or purchase of ownership or intellectual property. Nothing on the site is an offer of securities or a promise of financial return.
9. Shop and purchases
Where products are offered, the product description, checkout information and applicable payment/provider terms form part of the transaction. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the Operation Overbuilt name, original site content, photography, video, graphics, software, original CAD/design work and project materials are protected by intellectual-property rights belonging to Operation Overbuilt or the relevant rights holder. You may view and share links to public content for personal, non-commercial purposes, but you may not copy, sell, republish, reverse engineer restricted files, or commercially exploit project materials without permission.
LEGO, Porsche, Google, YouTube and other third-party names or marks belong to their respective owners. Operation Overbuilt is an independent project and is not presented as being sponsored, endorsed by or affiliated with those rights holders unless explicitly stated.
11. Acceptable use
You must not interfere with the site, probe or bypass access controls, scrape restricted member content, upload malicious material, impersonate another person, falsely claim a YouTube membership/channel, manipulate leaderboard results, or use the service in a way that is unlawful or harmful to other users or the project.
12. Availability and changes
The project is experimental and the website evolves with it. We may change, suspend or remove features, member benefits, game mechanics, downloads or pages where reasonably necessary for development, security, maintenance or legal reasons.
13. Liability
The site and project content are provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, Operation Overbuilt is not responsible for losses caused by relying on experimental engineering content, third-party platform outages, misuse of downloaded material or unauthorised use of an account. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricts mandatory consumer rights.
14. Privacy
Use of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. Cookies and browser storage are described in the Cookie Policy.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the project, membership model, shop or connected services change. Continued use after an updated version is published means the updated terms apply from that point, subject to any mandatory rights that require separate notice or consent.
16. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to media@operationoverbuilt.co.uk.
